Pure Brilliance

White snow
Falls into the black
That is my soul
The bloodstained hands
Reaching out toward
The sunset sky of
Despairing seas
Tossed by a windblown
Idea or unknown
Thought
Pure brilliance and
Love
The white of snow
Covers me
Holds me close,
Close submerges me in
Clean water like
The cool of icy white
And the forgiveness
Beginning
Of white snow.

I promise this is the last poem for a while.

Coming up next: Part III of the Purple Mold Trilogy...

This is a beautiful poem. I love it.

Oh, YAY! You're posting the purple mold story! YES!

Thanks- I have forgiven myself for switching templates so many times. I like being a creative genius, and I don't know why I apologized for that. (???)

Amazing what happens when you see blank paper and a pencil!

For those of you not present in my house when I wrote this poem, I saw a blank piece of paper and a pencil within a foot of each other, and both of them within three feet of me.... and I simply couldn't help myself. It's a compulsion.

Sparks of illumination,
C.

Thanks, I love Tenth Avenue North's music, too ... it is so much more than songs. It really reflects their spiritual journey, and parts of mine too!

I sing, but not professionally. I'm not sure if I'm any good or not, but I don't drive my family too crazy. I also want to teach myself guitar. Oh, and I know a teensy weensy little bit on the piano. What about you?

Seriously, I thought about it after I said that, and I really do. I never realized it! Even if I just doodle, I HAVE to put something down.
